MAKE SURE TO HAVE PROPER EQUIPMENT AND VEHICLE TO TRANSPORT ITEM.

MAKE SURE YOU CONTACT INFORMATION IS CURRENT AND CORRECT. 

Items up for auction are at various locations. Once a buyer has won an auction item(s), we will notify the department in possession of the item to contact the auction winner to set a date & time for pickup. 

The winning bidder is responsible for supplying proper manpower, equipment (i.e. dolly, hand truck, etc.), and appropriate vehicles for pickup. No equipment or manpower will be supplied by San Joaquin County. You are required to pick up all items included in the auction.  

The County shall deny access to pick-up auction winnings if the bidder arrives unprepared to SAFELY remove said items within the time allocated for the pickup, regardless of distance traveled or under any other circumstances.

The Property is sold and conveyed to the buyer USED, "AS IS, WHERE IS". The County of San Joaquin, as Seller, hereby expressly disclaims all warranties, either express or implied, including implied warranty of merchant-ability or fitness for a purpose, and neither assumes nor authorizes other person(s) to assume for it, any liability in connection with the sale of said Property. There are no guarantees, express or implied as to condition, usability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Property sold is not subject to any breach of guarantee, specifications, warranties, express or implied, as to the quality or kind of any such product.

PayMac, handles all payments for San Joaquin County. Payment for an awarded item must be made online within FIVE (5)business days of close of auction.

The County of San Joaquin sales tax of 7.75% (County) 9% (within City of Stockton) will be added to all purchases made.

Unless otherwise prearranged BUYER MUST PICK UP ITEMS WITHIN 10 WORKING DAYS OF CLOSE OF SALE unassisted by County staff, using BUYER'S OWN labor and equipment. Buyers with a current California Reseller number can provide a copy via email to surplusrequest@sjgov.org at close of auction & prior to payment for invoice processing.

Buyers Premium: A 10% Buyer Premium will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction.
