- Email confirmation of the top buyer's winnings will be sent the same business day in order to schedule pickup details.
- If the buyer does not reply within three (3) business days, the lot will be ceded to the next top buyer instead.
- Following email correspondence, the buyer must remove auction item(s) from the agency’s premises within five (5) business days.
- If the buyer does not pick up their winnings within the allotted time frame, the lot will be passed to the next top buyer.
- The successful bidder will be responsible for packing, and/or loading any item(s) at pick-up, if necessary. Our agency does not handle delivery or shipping of lots.
- Pick-up hours are Monday-Friday from 8 AM-4 PM, barring district closures or federal holidays.
- If a pick-up is scheduled, it must be scheduled at least one (1) business day in advance.
- If the auction ends after working hours (Mon-Fri 8 am - 4:30 pm) any questions or postings from the buyer will be answered by 10 am on the next business day.
- THE SCHOOL DISTRICT DOES NOT SUPPORT OR GUARANTEE THE OPERATION OF THIS EQUIPMENT.
Condition Disclaimer:
This equipment has been well used by the school district. We rarely get rid of anything we can use in the classroom, so most of it is either just too outdated, or has parts that have failed.
Buyer can assume that not all items are completely functional; they have not been recently tested, so their functionality cannot be guaranteed. Most, if not all, have notable wear and tear from regular student use (i.e. damaged screens, peeled trackpads, casing damage, etc.). Some have had components stripped.
Storage drives have been wiped or removed completely, and especially damaged batteries have been removed. Power/charging cables not included, although some miscellaneous cords and small peripherals may be attached to monitors.
Lot may include devices with cracked screens, or sharp edges. Please handle with care.

(i) Inspection of Auction items by appointment only.
(ii) Deming Public Schools may require a bid deposit.
(iii) PayMac handles all payments for Deming Public Schools.
(iv) Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
(v) Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.
(vi) Deming Public Schools does not charge sales tax.
(vii) A Buyers Premium of 10% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium if applicable will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.
(viii) All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.
(ix) The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within five (5) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.
(x) Pick-up hours by appointment only.
(xi) The successful bidder will be responsible for packing, and/or loading any item(s) at pick-up, if necessary.
