Item Description

This auction is for a large assorted lot of laboratory glassware, including multiple boxes of mixed glass pieces. All descriptions are based solely on what is visible in the photos.

Glassware visible in the lot includes:

  • Multiple boxes of clear glass sample bottles with turquoise screw caps
  • Several Wheaton-branded glass reagent/storage bottles (graduated)
  • Assorted Erlenmeyer flasks (various volumes, including 500–1000 mL markings)
  • Round-bottom flasks, small jars, graduated cylinders, and miscellaneous lab glass
  • Items individually packed with bubble wrap in some boxes
  • Total quantity appears to be several dozen mixed pieces (not counted, sold as one lot)

Condition

  • Used and mixed condition—some pieces appear clean, others may require washing.
  • Some glassware is loose, some individually wrapped for protection.
  • No chips or cracks guaranteed; sold AS-IS / WHERE-IS.
  • Only items shown in the photos are included.

Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.

Clemson University will charge a sales tax of 7%. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding.

A Buyers Premium of 10.5% may be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections.

All sales are final. Public Processing will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.

The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.

Pick-up hours, by appointment only, are normally Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:00PM EST except for university holidays or noted otherwise. Most surplus property is located at Clemson University Surplus and Receiving 108 Perimeter Rd Clemson SC 29634 but some items may be at other university locations across the state of South Carolina.
