SCV35 is putting two Great Pyrenees dogs (one male and one female) up for adoption. Our goal is that both dogs are adopted together.
The dogs' names are: Mijo and Mija
Age: 6 years (human years)
They're perfect in a family environment.
Please review this important information about the Great Pyrenees's needs:
Space requirements:
- Secure fencing: A secure fence at least 5 feet high is essential to prevent them from roaming, as they have a strong instinct to patrol large territories.
 - Acreage: A large yard is necessary. Many sources recommend a large space, such as a 50x100 feet or more.
 - Outdoor space is crucial: They are naturally nocturnal and work at night, so they need a safe outdoor space to patrol and bark. They should not be tied out or invisible fencing.

Other needs for owners:
- "Job" for the dog: Great Pyrenees need a purpose, such as guarding livestock, property, or even human children. They are not just pets but working dogs.
 - Barking: Be prepared for barking, especially at night, which may cause issues with neighbors.
 - Leash use: When outside the fenced area, they must always be kept on a leash.
 - Shade and shelter: A Doghouse is recommended for daytime use when the dog is outside, and it should be large enough and placed to provide shelter from the elements.
