Items should be paid for within 5 business days and picked up within 10 business days.  Items that have been paid for and not picked up within the given time will be resold.  We do not give refunds, credits or exchanges.

PAYMENT - Payments must be made through publicsurplus.com and must occur within five (5) business days after closing of auction. Failure to pay for award within five (5) business days of auction closing may result in loss of award. Auction may be awarded to the next highest bidder of item(s) or be relisted for auction if not paid within the five (5) day timeline.

PICK UP - WE DO NOT PREPARE, PACKAGE OR SHIP ITEMS. BIDDER IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS PROCESS.  Bidder is responsible for all pick up and or shipping arrangements, with other shipping parties.  Any damage to items due to other shipping arrangements are not seller’s responsibility.

Pick up must occur within ten (10) business days after closing of auction. Should winning bidders show up without an appointment there is no guarantee staff will be able to assist with the transaction. 

** You are expected to load and secure your own items for transport. If you cannot carry or lift your winnings, you will need to bring someone with you. City employees are not available to assist in this process **

Failure to pick up item(s) within ten (10) business days of auction closing may result in forfeiture of payment.

The City of Santa Rosa will charge the applicable 9.75% sales tax.

City of Santa Rosa may require a bid deposit.

PayMac, handles all payments for City of Santa Rosa.

Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!

Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.

A Buyers Premium of 10% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium if applicable will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.

All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.

The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.
