๐Ÿงช What it does (for bidders)

The AccuPyc 1330 is a gas displacement pycnometer used to determine true (skeletal) density of powders, solids, ceramics, polymers, pharmaceuticals, and porous materials by measuring volume via gas expansion. (Gas supply and proper calibration standards are normally required; not included here.)

๐Ÿ”ง Alternate Uses / Value (even if you don’t restore it)

  1. Lab instruction & training – Demonstrate gas-displacement density principles and sample handling without risking production equipment.
  2. Parts harvesting – Reuse the sealed sample chamber, pressure transducer(s), solenoid valves, fittings, power supply, keypad/LCD, and enclosure.
  3. Engineering / maker projects – Repurpose the rigid, gasketed chamber and plumbing for custom gas-flow or leak-test fixtures; use the chassis as a ready-made instrument enclosure with front panel and display cutouts.
  4. Demo/prop – Non-operational instrument for STEM exhibits, classroom demonstrations, or set dressing.

๐Ÿ“ Size & Handling (approximate, from appearance)

Bench-top unit; one-person lift. Standard IEC power cord connection; external gas supply required for normal operation (not included).
