Items should be paid for within 5 business days and picked up within 10 business days. Items that have been paid for and not picked up within the given time may be resold. We do not give refunds, credits or exchanges.
PAYMENT - Payments must be made through publicsurplus.com and must occur within five (5) business days after closing of auction. Failure to pay for award within five (5) business days of auction closing may result in loss of award. Auction may be awarded to the next highest bidder of item(s) or be relisted for auction if not paid within the five (5) day timeline.
PICK UP - WE DO NOT PREPARE, PACKAGE OR SHIP ITEMS. BIDDER IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS PROCESS. Bidder is responsible for all pick up and or shipping arrangements, with other shipping parties. Any damage to items due to other shipping arrangements are not seller’s responsibility.
Pick up must occur within ten (10) business days after closing of auction. Should winning bidders show up without an appointment there is no guarantee staff will be able to assist with the transaction.
** You are expected to load and secure your own items for transport. If you cannot carry or lift your winnings, you will need to bring someone with you. Library employees are not available to assist in this process **
Failure to pick up item(s) within ten (10) business days of auction closing may result in forfeiture of payment.

PayMac, receives and processes ALL payments and notifications NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED! Payment must be received within five(5) business days after notice of award of the winning bid.
The credit card limit per transaction is $4,000.00. For payments larger than this amount, follow the instructions listed under Wire Transfers.
Sonoma County Library will charge state/local sales tax except for the purchase of on-road vehicles that will be registered and operated by the Buyer within the State of California. See Terms and Conditions for details on sales tax and smog-related responsibility.
A Buyers Premium of 11% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge
bidder will be responsible for removal or pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises and is responsible for packing, loading, shipping and/or transporting of items and no later than 10 days after "notice of award". Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of payment.
Bid deposits may be required to ensure fairness to all buyers.
We do not ship items, so we do not accept any pre-paid shipping labels. If you are unable to pick up your auction item(s) in person, you may specify a family member or friend to do so for you.
