Up for auction is a highly collectible, late-production 1981 Crown Firecoach Custom Pumper, model number CP150-V55TAC. Crown Firecoaches are widely considered the "Cadillac of Fire Trucks," known for their iconic mid-century styling, heavy-duty build quality, and exceptional performance. Built in Los Angeles, California, this heavy-duty municipal pumper represents the pinnacle of Crown’s engineering from the final golden era of the company's production.
 
It is a 1981 Crown fire engine, body type model - FT.  It has 176,496 miles.  It is 9.5 ft tall and 28 ft long.  It does run and is able to be driven.  It was last serviced in May 2025.  At that time, new tires were put on.
 
  • Powertrain: Built with a 350 horsepower Detroit Diesel engine paired with a manual transmission.
  • Pump & Tank: Features a Waterous 1500 GPM two-stage pump and a 500-gallon water tank.
  • Seating Capacity: Configured to sit up to 6 firefighters, utilizing 2 split benches, 2 rear-facing seats, and 3 SCBA-integrated seats.
  • Included Equipment: Comes outfitted with a 24-foot extension ladder, a 14-foot roof ladder, hard suction hoses, a Supervac ventilation fan, and a Unitrol siren system.

Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award of the winning bid and the item must be picked up within ten (10) business days, unless other arrangements have been authorized by the District.

The successful bidder will be responsible for removal or pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Removal must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award of the winning bid, unless other arrangements have been authorized by the District. The notice of award, the payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at the time of pick-up, or the District will not release the item to you.

The successful bidder will be responsible for the packing, loading and/or transporting of any item(s), if necessary.
