The Yakima Valley Conference of Governments (YVCOG) is a Regional Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) based in the Yakima Valley, Washington. 46 years ago, the Yakima Valley Conference of Governments was established by the valley's community leaders. They saw the need to create a forum to address an ever growing list of regional concerns. This consortium has not only provided this forum, but now has grown to be a key player in the research for development of studies and plans needed to address these issues.
